The other day while i was looking for something in my papers i found that pic. it is from last summer, the day i came back home (Berlin) .. after 2 weeks spent on the French Riviera. F. picked me up from the airport, he had a new camera so he'd start shooting everything/anything. And this one if one of his Masterpieces of Art ;) I just stand in front of my door, looking for my keys. I totally had forgotten about that pic, but i must say with time i am liking it more ! (also now it reminds me of the sunny days .. being lazy .. going swimming .. god i miss that !)
It has been a while since i read a book in german .. usually i think reading should be a relaxed and easy moment for my brain , therefore i rather go for books in french or in english. But now i am reading Tschick, in german (ja ja), and i must say i got surprised how easy and fun it was to read that book. It is really well and smartly written .. plus the story takes place in Berlin :) A subtly funny novel .. that it sometimes really makes me laugh out loud. I carry it with me everyday as i have much time to spend in the U-bhn when going to work. I can only recommend the book, voilà :)
"Cat" is back. He lives somewhere in the building and comes often to our flat knocking. Yes, it is a Super Cat that learnt how to knock. So well, anyway, i let him in so i have some easy company while working.

Last night H. and I joined friends at Comet Club in Berlin for a concert, we had no idea what kind of concert we were going to .. but it was a really nice surprise. First Zulu Pearls was on stage, it was great, fantastic, great voice, great music .. BIG LIKE ! you can get 3 free downloads HERE. Then Tennis was playing, which was also some very nice sound. It felt so good to go to a concert, listening to some good music, and let it go .. let it go ...
The other day i stopped at R.S.V.P where a friend M. works. I like to stop by and check what they have, cards, calendars, tapes, pens etc. It is an incredibly tidy shop, i think that always fascinated me .. :) some time ago i bought a Moleskine Agenda, but that time i went to get a special cute little card for a special friend :) .. Also they had a really nice bunch of flowers, so i asked M. where they got it. Later on i stopped then at Tausendschön and got myself a tiny bouquet that brings a light spring breeze into my room. Merci M. ! Les Fleurs sont très belles !

I took those pictures as i lived in Niza a year ago, i did not have the blog at the time, so never posted them. The camera i had back then was not of a very good quality, but i anyway like those shots. Most of them were taken in the Old Town. Lately berlin is very grey and dull, so i am not so much out making pics, therefore here the old shots. Hope you enjoy them nevertheless :)
Pictures of Paris i never posted .. it was more than a year ago, on a pretty cold day, and yes it is again Montmartre .. well i lived around the corner .. so i used to go there pretty often. So those pictures here are more from the tiny streets behind the Touristic Scene (where the Sacré Coeur and Place du Parvis). I remember the tiny green parisian bus going through the very narrow streets .. and driving like crazy while honking non-stop. By the way, the street to go up to Montmartre is called "Rue du Calvaire" yes .. Calvary, the street is indeed very sloping and basically made of infinite stairs ..
Today i saw the Film "Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran", and one could hear that song several times in the film. Last summer H. sent me the song , and hearing it today reminded me how much i like it. So i have been playing it on .. and on .. So here we go .. have a nice sunday with Timmy Thomas !
Berlin you are melting and disgusting. but come on .. i still love you. After all .. everybody goes through tough times in life. There will be better days, sooner or later.
A "sunday mood" turning into a "saturday mood": Zoo Kid . And the flowers is just to put some little Colours and Warmth on this very grey day.
