In France, the 2nd of february is called 'Fête de la Chandeleur'. Officially it is is the Catholic holiday of Candlemas, a feast to commemorate the purification of the Virgin Mary and the presentation of the baby Jesus forty days after his birth. It is also known as the 'Crêpes Day', because on that particular day lots of family in France will be making and having crêpes. So well, i just used that excuse to make crepes today. Also we have a new crepe pan at home which is just fantastic, normally the first crepe you make always turns to be a mess, but mine today was just perfect (must be the pan ..) Also, eventhough on the pics you see jam, sugar etc .. i always and only have Nutella on my crepes .. because that's the real stuff ! :) Voilà.
pour moi ce sera Jambon et Gruyère please ;)

moi aussi je suis plutôt branchée crêpes salées .. mais une bonne crêpe au nut .. c'est quand même Canon !
