Treptower Park

So today, because of the blue sky and the sun shinning i just could not stay indoor, my whole body and soul demanded to GO OUT. Also this whole week i have been very lazy, always staying home, hibernating in a way, it would only snow, so i'd rather stay home under my warm blanket. So today, when i went out, the snow had stopped, J. and I headed up to the Treptower Park. Pure beauty, the snow was still white (not turned into some disgusting mud)and in some parts no one had walked on it yet. Then we went to the Soviet War Memorial, which is just .. Massive ! i mean the soviets they did think BIG ! the statue is actually 12-m tall and it represents a Soviet soldier with a sword holding a German child, standing over a broken swastika. Not less. Later on we found ourselves into some seagull action, fighting for food. Well and after that long walk out in the cold we went have a fantastic hot chocolate at Les Enfants Gatés in Kreuzberg.
