Summer /Berlin

Good day !

Today I got some unexpected news ... mail from the Sorbonne Paris .. and I got in !!! They were supposed to give us an answer end of the month .. so that was early. I could not believe it, I am so happy I get to move back to Paris very soon .. ahhh Paris ... So after I got the news I drove to Sbb, see D. and tell her the good news :) then she sent me on a flower mission, as the shop needed some fresh new ones :) it was fun preparing little bunches of flowers for the tiny cute vases. After that I got to try the new dish they are offering now, very good, as usual. And to finish a good coffee in my favorite Parrot cup while reading some magazines and listening to some french music ! Good day Good day !

Day off

Ahhh finally a sunny day !! Plus I was off today .. well not really .. I was off but to do another job :) The same as last year, I walked today to present the new collection from Nikita. The show took place at a very nice hotel in Berlin : Michel Berger - a very nice designed hotel. I took some pictures before the show, the room looked so nice, the people we worked with were also great, mostly the same crew as last year, was really nice seeing them again. We had a little break in between, I think I had like 4 or 5 of those mini croissants .. they were just delicious !! (oh god I miss France for that!), plus a quick coffee then back to work :) We should have been off around 4 but we actually did the whole show before the lunch break so around 1h30 we were off .. ahhh great ! So H. and I took our bikes, went to have an icecream in Kreuzberg. Later on I met up with A. and we just sat there by that fountain, had coffee and relaxed in the sun. I brought my sunglasses for repair .. so in the meantime I am using my big black hat that I like so much ! (found it at Sbb ..)

July/ Berlin

"So grau, so traurig". For like 2-3 days we have this silly weather going on, it's like a non stop thin rain .. just the kind of rain i really find supid, it looks like harmless .. but you actually quickly get throughly wet. I must say i do not recall Berlin being grey for so many days in a row in the Summer. Usually it gets hot then you have a big fat storm, then it gets hot again, and then storm again and so on. But those last days they remind me of the Fall .. plus there are so many leaves on the streets .. Just the kind of days where you want to stay at home .. and drink Mimosas :)  and watch some Wes Anderson movie .. ain't too bad .. but nevertheless .. there is actually the real Fall season for that Stuff !! Summer Come Back !
