Presidio of San Francisco

 

 

 

Presidio is a park on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula in San Francisco, California, within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. So here we were at the beach by the ocean, when the sun goes down it gets pretty fresh, but it did not seem to bother the crazy naked people .. (somehow it seems very common in San Francisco to stroll naked .. not only at the beach but also in town on a busy saturday afternoon .. don't ask me why .. perhaps they are still stuck in the time of the "Summer of Love"..)

Great View

We arrived yesterday close to La Rochelle, in Vendée region. We are visiting friends until tomorrow, they have this great house, facing the ocean. Amazing view. We arrived around lunch time, so we had a great barbecue on the terrasse, later on we walked down to the  beach and chilled in the sun. From the house we can see the island Ile de Ré, it is pretty huge! Tomorrow we are going back to Cap Ferret .. i think i like it more .. it is so wild, with woods, huge dunes all around, the ocean is also crazier down there ;)
