Paris, a year ago.

H. visited me last year as I lived in Paris. He took quite some pics, but unfortunately something went wrong with his camera and most pics got lost, only now some got "rescued" from the memory card, here 4 of them that i really like. The first pics were shot at the Père Lachaise, and the last one is Place des Vosges. Thanks for the pics !

Birthday Dinner

Nice little birthday dinner with F. in Kreuzberg at hoainam. We sat outside, it was still day light, and also warm. It was not too bad at the end to have birthday on a Monday, i could leave work earlier, I joined K. in Mitte for a coffee/sandwich in the park, and then in the evening the nice vietnamese food : a pretty relaxed day then ! loved it !

Noi !

Cosy afternoon at Noi, warschauer str. 70 Berlin. I sat by the big opened window, facing the sun, it was just nice, plus the coffee was really good. Nice little stop after walking around the fleamarket at Boxhagenerplatz in Friedrichshain (desperately looking for a new bike since mine got stolen F***). My day started a little bit funny .. i have birthday tomorrow and somehow i had today quite lots of melancholic thoughts .. but then that good coffee and the warm sun cheered me up ! 

Cookies

We also made cookies, and they are Fantastic, Amazing, Delicious ... yep, also brought them all back home :) but i can't assure they will still be there tomorrow .. Danke K. !

Cupcakes

We baked those cupcakes at K.'s .. we brought them to the birthday party we were attending last night .. but well .. we kind of forgot about them, so they just stayed in the kitchen all night. well .. it isn't that bad, i got the chance to take them home, i got like 12 of them, so if anyone fancy trying them, come over for a coffee ;)

I see Frühling II

Just dry earth, dead leaves, wonder how those flowers made their way out. Anyway it is an enjoyable little show, because it just tells us warmer days are on their way !

First weekend of the year with icecoffee, sandals, late evening with nice wine in the park, sun, warmth, good mood, love it. Now i remember why i love berlin so much :)  Spring and Summer are just fantastic, was worth the waiting during the long tough winter.

Sunday afternoon, the girls were in berlin for the weekend. those pics were taken at the Mauerpark, the girls checked the fleamarket and we then all met by the Karaoké, sat there facing the sun. i wish i had taken more pics .. those are the only ones (i was too busy chatting, laughing, eating, dancing, drinking, cracking up). God, that was a crazy intense weekend ! now i need the week to recover :)

Les 3 Vallées. Mix.

I did not know about it .. but Les Trois Vallées or The Three Valleys (Savoie département. France) is the largest ski area in the world which is connected solely by ski lifts and slopes. It has more than 600 km (410 miles) of ski slopes, resulting in 18.5 km² of groomed runs. In addition, there are 120 km for cross-country skiing. Les Trois Vallées has 183 ski lifts, which can transport 260,000 skiers per hour. Other equipment owned by the operating companies include 1,920 snow cannons and 76 piste bashers. Employees in the area include 424 ski patrollers and 1,500 ski instructors.  !!!!

It was simply fantastic, lots of people from all around the world go there, even Canadians fly to Les 3 Vallées on a ski vacation ! I had a wondeful time with my little 'crew' skiing all around : Méribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens .. always trying new slopes, green, blue, red, and also black ! (hehe) , big wide slopes or little ones through the fir trees and country cottages ..
