My Deers !

I am rather lazy now to write the whole story myself, so i just 'stole' some lines from the internet, which describe pretty well the whole Soma Exhibition Concept. "the whole exhibition is about this mythical elixir called soma. It’s a drink that sends you to nirvana. A kind of good for you mushroom based hallucinogen. The artist’s idea is that soma is a drink that probably contains the urine of deer who have eaten a certain mushroom.  A mushroom that is poisonous to humans. The deer don’t die from the mushroom and instead, they transfer all the mushroom’s magical goodies to the lucky people who get to drink their pee… At least that is the dream that the artist hopes we all can participate in - and he even put a bed in the reindeer stall that you can rent for like a couple thou a night and groove on the reindeer aura. Back to the pee… As you can see here, the artist has workers who meticulously collect the reindeer pee and store it in the fridge."  We stayed in actually pretty long, just sat on a bench behing the tinted window, and we asked ourselves, how exactly do they collect the pee ........ to be continued ..

Tiny Christmas Corner

Yesterday i got myself the tiny bird and the tiny matryoshka for my tiny tree. I would like to find some more decoration, but they were all for big trees, which would not make much sense: if i would get those we'd no longer see my tree. Also i got the Muji candle, Winter Cedar, which just smells fantastic ! The snow globe i got it last year as a present from La Fla, it is from Paris. Well .. my corner kind of look ridiculous as it is quite small in my big berlin room, but better than nothing, right ? 

Soupe du Jour

 For the winter i just have One advice : Make Soupe à l'Oignon ! C'est si BON ! (ok we hardly can see onions in the pics .. but i swear, there was onions ! i guess this post should rather be called "Fromage du Jour" !).

Sunday mood

Quick walk around the corner

Today, before going to work, J. and I enjoyed a very short but very nice walk. Actually, since weeks i wanted to check the little french shop "Saveur Champagne" and never made it, so today i finally did ! it is rather small but pretty charming. I got some 'Rillettes', some 'Crème de Marron' and the guy offered me a quiet big piece of 'Beaufort' (great cheese). So voilà, nice food for the cold snowy days :)

A long walk out in the snow

So tonight i have had a pretty long walk with J. We, for sure, stopped 2 times for glühwein, and one time we went into a café to warm ourselves up before heading up for the cold again. Today was i think a pretty nice day to go to the Christmas Market, the snow is fresh and still white. So Berlin looks pretty clean right now, and is also rather quiet. It shall get -17°C tonight, but it will feel like -24°C according to the weather forecast. Well i stay at home, next to my best friend : Monsieur Heating. Voilà.
